Where Have I Been?

Posted by David Estes on Jul 03, 2017

Hello Everyone,

It's been a long time since I have had the time to stop and write a blog post and is something I regret taking the time to do. I'm still alive and well, actively contributing to the Grails / Groovy community (though not as actively as I was before). The reason for this is because of my engagement in a start up that has kept me busier than I could have ever imagined it would at the time we started. Documenting your APIs

Posted by David Estes on Jun 07, 2015

Last week I had to rush to figure out how best to document some public developer API's for Happy Apps. Posted by David Estes on Jan 29, 2015

As many of you may have seen. In the past few hours the pre-release version of grails 3.0.0.M1 was released. It features many great improvements such as moving to the gradle build tool, easier testing stack, better IDE support, and tons of other little nuggets.

Grails 3.0 is also the first official framework release running on the new AP 2.0 stack exclusively. As this is a pre-release expect improvements down the line but at the moment, you can already take advantage of the full suite of AP...
